Breakthrough Ocean-Coastal-Winpark Fish Farm Technology

is mobile, autonomous, sustainable and economic and considers Climate Changes and natural Habitats of Fish

A. Technology - Sustainability

  1. There is no suitable, sustainable and economic "Ocean Fish Farm" on the World Market for the global Fish Farmer who wants to go "Offshore" in exposed Ocean, Coast or Windfarms.
  2. Hydrodynamic Works state that our free floating and deep submerging "Cylindrical Fish Cages" innovation linked to a mobile Service and Feeding Station assure sustainable Aquaculture in exposed waters.
  3. Our free floating cylindrical cage with a special Design at the conical cage end create in the cage an environment like in Fjords and avoid the strong inclemency of Climate Change.
  4. Our one point anchored Fish Farm circulates over large areas and spread fish-waste in low concentration in exposed waters for natural demolishing and avoids water pollution.
  5. Cage, Service-Feeding Station, Equipment and functional Structures are proved in Oceans and in existing Structures over decades and are therefore riskless and safe and don´t need any further researches.
  6. The Static Works in Glasgow and Oslo for 10 m wave resistance and a Prototype test in Scotland over 4 years with technical statics, are finalized to construct our Ocean Fish Farm Innovation right away.
  7. Our Ocean-Coastal-Windpark Fish Farm Innovation is per m3 cage volume 15 to 20 times cheaper than Ocean Farm 1 and has 4 to 6 times lower Inputs and Costs than land-based and ship-based RAS Designs.

B. Aquaculture in > Windfarms and > Exposed Coasts

1. Windfarms:

Our one point anchored and mobile Ocean Farm does not hinder the Service and Maintenance of Wind Towers and does not

pollute Ocean Water (see above) and is accepted by Windfarm Owners.

2. Alternative Ocean Farming:

Cylindrical Cages anchored in deep coastal waters get served by a Service/Feeding Station locates at near land site or gets

served and fed by a separate anchored  vessel with Feeder.

At Storm forecast the Ocean Farm moves to a save spot. Cages remain submerged.

Both Alkternative meets the Conditions and Inclemencies like in North- and East Sea.

C. Station, Cage, Equipment, Function, Patent

1. Second Hand Cargo Vessels gets modified to low cost Service and Feeding Stations.

2. Our static and prototyp proved Ocean Fish Farm is equipped with Silos, automatic Feeder, Facilties, computerized Programs

and Sensor-Systems for Autonomy and Remote Control.

3. Electricity is provided by a 12 KW Battery, loaded by wind/solar - no fossil energy.

4. The Cages have no wear-out technics and are handled by Air-Pressure from Air-Chambers.

5  Net cleaning by sun/air and dead fish disposal by special systems due to cylindrical cages.

6. Patent in 2008. Suplementary Patents followed 2014 and 2022 - see Attachments.

D. Fish Welfare - Performances - Promotion - Support

Fishwelfare - Performance

1. Porous Hoses provided Air/Oxygen for Fish if needed and atmospheric Air for bubble Fish.

2. Three floating cages are linked to the sites and to the rear of the Fish Farm

3. Cages sizes of L 60 m to 100 m x D 16 m to 30 m, have volumes of 12.000 m³ to 70.000 m³ cage volume.

3 Cages have volumes of 36.000 m³ to 210.000 m³ for up to 6.500 tons of Salmon/Fish.

Promotion

1. The EU-EIC Accelerator agreed to Step 1 of our application and support 70 % and provides EU Credits.

2. FAO, EU, UN and Marine Research state  its suitablity for global Fish Farm Companies

3. R&D and Static Works for 10 m wave resistance and for Workshop-Plans is fianalized

E. Factory and Marketing

1. A Factory delivers free floating "Turnkey Ocean Farms" to any global location

2. Market Analyses state that hundreds of global Fish Farm Companies would buy the low cost and riskless Ocean Farm, if a

"Demonstration Project" proves its great advantages.

3. The follower "Patent Holder" has no competitors world-wide and get a global Market of hundreds of Fish Farm Companies who

become Cooperatives to increase Salmon and Fish Sale.

G. Ocean Fish Farm with 1 and with 3 Cages

Rear-Beam for rear cage

2 Site beams for site cages

The length of the beams is the submerging depth of cages

Innovative Feeder for submerged cages

The 2 white water boxes for demonstration/tests only

Dead Fish Disposal Unit

Model of Dead Fish Disposal

Annex 1 Operation of Beck Cage - Graphics

Service position and Self-Cleaning of Nets

At calm weather, the cage is lifted half out of water for grading, harvesting and net cleaning. At low stocking density the cage rotates frequently, that sun and air can dry and clean nets and structure.

Feeding + Conical front

The innovative Beck Feeder press dry pellets into a water-stream and push the pellets into the sections of Beck Cage within seconds at any depth of the cage - regulated by a computer program.
The conical front with its plate-structure, regulate the strong current for fish-welfare.

Dead Fish Collection and Oxygenation

A innovative patented Unit dispose dead fish into an out-site basket. When turning the cage till the basket is above sea level, dead fish are collected by a boat. Divers are not needed anymore.
Diffuse-porous pipes, fixed on the 4 lowest longitude stringers, enrich the water with air or liquid oxygen if needed. Atmospheric air is provided in “Air-Bells” in each section.

Harvesting and grading of Fish

Harvesting and grading is done by section-radius nets (mesh sizes), fixed at the axial structure in each section and pulled by an endless rope to the periphery of the cage and fixed on a stringer.
The mobile fish farm moves to coastal harvest and processing plants and saves transport costs.
A vacuum pump sucks the fish out of each section as shown on the graphic.
